Good Grief Support Services

We are a support service that helps you find your path and purpose beyond grief and loss. We are a friend that understands your pain and gives you a listening ear and a shoulder to lean on as we walk through the journey with you. 

Good Grief Support Services was founded by Moriah Friend in 2020. Moriah has endured significant loss and(but) has since found healing. Having experienced personal loss and grief through the sudden death of her husband, on top of juggling the weight of parenthood single-handedly, she understands what it feels like to feel alone, stuck and lost. With God by her side and a determined spirit to fuel her fire, Moriah was able to work through her grief. Through Good Grief Support Services, coupled with the right guidance, care and compassion, she is now on a path to impart the same skills to others going through similar challenges. 

Good Grief Support Services provides coaching services that can be individualized or in small groups, depending on your preference. We have structured our sessions to effectively help people process the death of a partner, family, friend or colleague. Whether the loss occurred recently and the pain feels unbearable, or it was years ago, and the unprocessed grief is weighing you down, we are on hand to support your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. In addition, we also help individuals process other types of losses – including divorce, the end of a friendship/relationship, and the loss of a job or goals. 

Other than coaching, we also offer support in the form of workshops, support groups, books, resources and more. Our goal is to inform and educate as many people as possible on the grieving process, help them manage grief and assist them in rebuilding their lives.

Good Grief Support Services believes that there is life after loss; there is life after death. We will guide you into a life of fulfillment and purpose despite the circumstances.
